How to Delete Your Account

You can permanently delete your Cestio account directly from within the app.

1. Open the Cestio app
2. Go to Settings
3. Tap Delete Account
4. Confirm deletion

If you cannot access the app, you may also request deletion by emailing cestio@outlook.com from the email linked to your account.

What Data Is Deleted

• Your account profile information
• Email address and authentication data
• Grocery and expense records
• App usage data linked to your account
• Subscription status stored in our backend

Data That May Be Retained

Some limited information may be retained where required for legal, tax, fraud prevention, or financial record-keeping obligations, including transaction records processed by Apple App Store or Google Play.

Deletion Timeframe

Account deletion is immediate within the app. Backup systems may retain encrypted copies for a short period (up to 30 days) before permanent removal. Once deletion is completed, your data cannot be recovered.
