Ingredients (Serves: 2)

  • Spaghetti170 g
  • Crushed tomatoes (can)400 g
  • Frankfurter sausages200 g
  • Tomato paste30 g
  • Onion80 g
  • Olive oil10 g
  • Dried oregano2 g
  • Parmesan (optional)20 g

Method

  1. Chop the onion very finely. Break the spaghetti in half and put it in a wide, deep microwave-safe dish with the onion, canned tomatoes, tomato paste, olive oil, oregano, salt and 250 ml of water. Make sure the pasta is mostly under the liquid.

  2. Cover with a plate, leaving a gap for steam, and microwave on full power for 6 minutes. Stir well and push the pasta back under the sauce.

  3. Cover again and microwave for 5 more minutes. Slice the sausages into rounds, stir them in and microwave for 2 minutes, until the spaghetti is tender and the sausages are steaming hot.

  4. Stir, let it stand for 1 minute so the sauce thickens, and serve with a little grated Parmesan if you like.
